Carne Asada-Wheat/Gluten Free


Carne Asada

2 lbs boneless beef steak cut into thin slices

2 tsp dijon mustard (wheat/gluten free) 3 Tbsp tamari (wheat/gluten free) juice from 2 limes

3 Tbsp olive oil 1 jalapeño seeded and chopped 6 garlic cloves cut into thin slivers 12 green onions cut into 1 inch lengths

1 Tbsp sesame seeds 1 cup chopped cilantro lettuce leaves plain yogurt (wheat/gluten free)

In a bowl marinate the steak slices in the mustard, tamari, and lime juice. Let stand at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.

After the meat has marinated, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the meat, garlic, and jalapeno until the meat is done to your liking.

Serve the cooked meat on whole lettuce leaves with the green onions, sesame seeds, plain yogurt, and chopped cilantro.
